Paediatric dietitians with more than 15 years of NHS experience.
10 years of partnership and friendship!
With 5 children across all age ranges, we understand the practical challenges of getting nutrition right across all age groups.
Registered dietitians are qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose, and treat diet and nutritional problems.
Dietitians are regulated by law and governed by an ethical code to ensure they work to the highest standard.
Dietitians must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (www.hcpc-uk.org) and be a member of their professional body, the British Dietetic Association (www.bda.uk.com) in order to practice.
Paediatric dietitians undertake further study to specialise in this area. They work with babies, children, teenagers, and their families to optimise their nutrition. This can often be at a time when they require specialist input because of allergies, fussy eating, or nutritional deficiencies.
If your child has not had their height/length and weight taken in the last month, this would need to be taken prior to your appointment. You may be able to do this at a healthy visitor baby weighing clinic or at your GP. Alternatively please see the link below for instructions on how to measure at home.

We are able to see both self-paying and medically insured clients. Please note we only see clients insured with the companies listed below. If you are not insured with any of these companies but still wish to have a consultation you will need to self-fund.
If you are requesting a consultation under your medical insurance, you will require an authorisation code prior to any assessments which your insurance company will provide. It is best to contact them first to check your policy covers dietetic assessments.
Treatment Plans:
In order for dietary change to be effective and sustainable we often recommend at least 3 sessions of care. This enables families to implement the goals discussed and feedback about any concerns. A prolonged period of care provides the necessary support whilst families are making these changes before the next goals are discussed.
